2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Debuted at the 2011 LA Auto Show


The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 has unveiled at the 2011 LA Auto Show.The Car will goes on sale next year.

Powered by a 5.8-liter engine, which they say is the most powerful production V8 in the world. This unit has an aluminum block, produces 650 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, and most parts have been redesigned to maximize performance.

The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 also an upgraded cooling system with a large fan, a more efficient intercooler, a high-flow intercooler pump and a larger intercooler heat exchanger.


The clutch and transmission are also to be revised to make the car fuel efficiency and the company's engineers have over 35 gear combinations before deciding on a less torque to achieve.

The 6-speed manual gearbox in the new Ford Shelby GT500 has a final ratio of 3:31:01, but the clutch, which now has a dual-disc design, more torque and speed.

These additional features to the 2013 Shelby GT500 a new launch control system, Brembo brakes, aerodynamics, and revised new forged aluminum wheels 19-inch diameter front and 20 inches at the rear axle, all with Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G: 2 Tyre.

According to the new Ford Shelby GT500 is now an optional performance package that can Bilstein adjustable electronic dampers and a Torsen limited-slip differential, properties that are linked to a track pack that also includes disposal.
