BMW 1-Series M Coupe RS by Tuningwerk

BMW 1-Series M Coupe, BMW 1M RS racer

The Germany's Tuningwerk has introduced their latest project for BMW 1-Series M Coupe. These BMW 1M RS by Tuningwerk comes with upgrades for the aerodynamics, exterior, performance, brakes, suspension and interior.

The BMW 1M RS racer is powered by three-liter BMW engine with output at 335-horses and 450Nm (332 lb-ft of torque) for standard, and now after modified, the output is boosted to 521HP (528PS) and peak torque to 614Nm (453 lb-ft) from 2,800 rpm.
Tuningwerk also completes the upgrades that include among other things, an ECU remap, modified turbochargers and cooling system, and a custom exhaust system.

The German tuning house has replaced several body panels such as the hood and boot lid with carbon fiber items. The GT4 front lip spoiler, rear wing and the Recaro bucket seats are also made from the same lightweight material. These vehicle is rides on forged ATS superlight 19-inch rims wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx high-performance tires size 245/35R19 on the front and 285/30R19 on the rear axle.

Tuningwerk charge 119,000 euro (US$156,500) for the complete BMW 1M package, including  a roll cage, though in this case, the rear seat bench is discarded.
