Mustang Shelby 1000 Debuts at the 2012 New York Auto Show

Mustang Shelby 1000, 2012 Ford Shelby GT500, Shelby American

Shelby American will be introducing the most powerful Shelby, named Shelby 1000. The Vehicle will debut at the New York Auto Show next week.

The Mustang Shelby 1000 is based on a 2012 Ford Shelby GT500, its comes with two versions includes Shelby 1000 street-legal version and Shelby 1000 race tracks. The Shelby street-legal version is powered by 5.4 liter V8 engine
with output 950 horsepower while the Shelby race tracks is powered by the same, but the output is 1,100-horsepower.

The Ford Mustang Shelby 1000 also comes with new aero components, including a front splitter, a new bonnet, new connecting rods, a new crank, and new pistons, upgraded the cooling and exhaust, new suspension upgrades (new struts, sway bars, and bushings) and a new rear diffuser.

The Shelby 1000 street-legal version prices starts at $149,995 while the Shelby 1000 track version starts at $154,995. The American Brand Shelby also gives the car with all the bells and whistles choices, its starts at around $200,000.
